Our passion for pets
Hi, I'm Megan, the owner of Walks With Meg!
Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something that I genuinely love.
Alongside me is my partner, Josh, a firefighter with a passion for animals and experience caring for dogs of all ages and temperaments. We are also supported by my mum, Laurene, who shares the same love and dedication to animal welfare.
Together, we have volunteered with animal sanctuaries both in the UK and overseas, helping to care for animals in need. Our shared passion for animals is at the heart of everything we do.
Tailored to your pet's needs
Over the past 2-3 Years, we have worked with a wide variety of dogs, from tiny chihuahuas to large breeds such as Cane Corsos and Bernese Mountain Dogs. We have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, nervous pets and dogs who may need a little extra patience and understanding.
Whilst we are not qualified dog trainers or behaviourists, we have worked with many nervous and reactive dogs and always take a calm, positive and individual approach to their care. We also have experience supporting puppy owners with reinforcing routines and basic training.
As lifelong animal lovers, we have grown up around both dogs and cats and understand the importance of providing reliable, compassionate care that owners can trust.
Beyond the walk: a special bond
For us, dog walking is about much more than exercise. It's about building trust, creating positive experiences, and forming lasting bonds with every dog we care for.
We celebrate birthdays, reward good behaviour with owner-approved treats, and take the time to get to know each dog's individual personality. Every pet in our care is treated like one of our own, receiving the same love, patience, and attention we would give our own animals.
Your pet's happiness, safety, and wellbeing will always be our top priority.
